About Kayla

KAYLA MAE ANDERSON is a Chicago-based writer, theater maker, and marketer. She is also a certified yoga teacher, amateur weightlifter, dog mom—and generally a pretty curious person ready to try anything once.

She is an ensemble member at Solo Crowd in Chicago, and she has performed her original work at Barking Legs Theater, where she also served on the board of directors and co-created the Art Alive performing arts collaboration with The Hunter Museum of American Art in Chattanooga, TN. She's directed plays like Ceremony by Mark Schultz (The Side Project), and has produced (ASM) plays such as Exit Strategy by Ike Holter (Jackalope Theatre).
