When "Ramble On" and "Invisible Cities" Collide. (or Pompeii Looms)

I imagine the city we have built to be made of mostly iron.

In our city, the clouds are always cumulus; lined in gray and about to burst.

Our city is gray and black, accented in white (very specifically).

Our citizens study Pythagoras and The Classics.

They are happy because they have hold of that spark of knowledge that illuminates their dark eyes- This confidence in knowing.

Their skin is pale, eyes and hair always dark- Color slated; matte.

Their footfalls are soft, and they take up little space.

Our walls are well defended.

We are temperate (environment, climate, and disposition).

Pompeii Looms; I don’t fit.
